From October 1 the SBS ON DEMAND motion pictures catalogue will broaden to offer over 400 titles which can be free for scenes videos all Australians to get pleasure from each time they need, wherever they are and on a gadget of their choosing.

Movies will be accessible for 12 months with round 10-20 new titles out there every month, making this Australia’s largest collection of free and authorized on demand movies.

Marshall Heald, SBS Chief Digital Officer, mentioned: "SBS is Australia’s home of independent and international movies and we are excited to broaden our offering to anybody who loves motion pictures due to SBS ON DEMAND. Everyone loves free content and we would like all Australians to be able to access all these movies, free and legally on a mess of units at a time of their choosing."

The launch comes off the back of the massive success of the online Film Festival of one hundred Clicks in March 2014 in which 108 movie titles have been launched free on-line for 31 days. This attracted 824,000 video stream views - a 186 per cent improve within the month-to-month common views for SBS Motion pictures over the previous 12 months.
